Volcano Week Recap 🌋 | Feb 1–7, 2026

Last week, our little learners explored the exciting theme of Volcano Week.

Through fun, hands-on activities, the children discovered:

  • What a volcano is

  • How lava flows

  • What happens when a volcano “erupts”

  • New words like lava and crater

We used sensory play, art projects, and simple science experiments to make learning visual and engaging. The children especially loved watching our mini “volcano eruptions” and talking about the colors, bubbles, and movement.

To finish the week, we shared a short video to help bring everything together in a fun and age-appropriate way.

A lovely week full of curiosity, creativity, and learning.

As colder weather approaches, please remember to dress your child appropriately for the temperature. Warm coats, hats, gloves, and layers are encouraged for outdoor play.

For safety and comfort, children should also wear closed-toe, secure shoes that are suitable for cold and wet conditions. Open shoes and sandals are not safe during colder weather.
